Established over sixty years and based in Rosbercon, New Ross. Barrowside Veterinary Hospital serves the people and animals of the Barrow Valley and surrounding areas.

We strive to provide the most up to date medical, surgical and preventative health care to both small and large animals. Our team of Vets are highly experienced, have a wide range of skills and are here for you whenever you need us.

Our services range across companion animals, farm animals and equine. We operate out of our State of the Art Hospital which is fully accredited by the Veterinary Council of Ireland and also provide full off site services to our farm and equine patients.

Cant recommend this place enough, in particular the younger vet Tomas. He was very professional and thorough in his examinations of my kitten. He went above and beyond to put my mind at ease that she was in good hands and more importantly in good health.

Such great service from Barrowside Veterinary. I got a pup and was provided with such helpful advice and support, getting its doggie passport, getting all the appropriate shots, and a full check up before I did travel with her abroad to her new home.
